Environment Requirements
Our infrared spectrometers and accessories are designed for indoor use from 0 to 2000 meters (or 650 feet) above sea level.
Their reliable operating temperature is between 16 ° C and 25 ° C (60 ° F - 78 ° F). It can be temporarily placed in an environment below -10 ° C (eg during transportation) without reducing its reliability.
Please keep the indoor air humidity range from 20% to 50%. FTIR infrared spectroscopy instruments need to work in a dry environment because the beam splitters, detectors, and other components may be corroded by moisture. In a humid environment, only the desiccant is not able to completely protect the optics inside the instrument. Therefore, when using an infrared spectrometer in a humid environment, use a dehumidifier to control the humidity in the room. It must be kept indoors without dust, no corrosive gas, and no strong vibration.
It must be ensured that each power outlet has three wires: live, neutral, and ground. The ground wire on the power outlet must be grounded.
When the power is turned on, do not disconnect the ground terminal.
Use a suitable power cord that supports three-wire system with a ground terminal.
Do not use damaged wires to avoid accidental hazards. For your own safety, please do not move or bend the plug of the power cord.The engineer must be present to extend the circuit to avoid the risk of electric shock..
